Energy Management System Pilot
Infuse boots-on-the-ground expertise into a new industrial product before it enters its market-ready phase. Find out if a Strategic Energy Management system can create inroads with your small to medium manufacturing customers. The activity will be local, but the impact will be regional.
A pilot program brought to you by:

What
NEEA is seeking 1-2 utility partners and approximately 20-25 small to medium manufacturers to pilot a scaled down, e-learning version of NEEA’s Strategic Energy Management product, CEI.
Why
Empirical and data driven evidence suggests that a management system for energy creates persistence of savings and increases the uptake of capital improvement projects. NEEA will test the ability of CEI v2 to embed a management system for energy into a market traditionally more resource-constrained. If the product can embed a basic management system, NEEA will look for similar results in projects and savings in upcoming, revised product trials.
Expected Outcome
- Participants have embedded basic management systems for energy into their businesses
- Pilot has captured details of end user experience to improve product for market readiness
- Co-hosts (NEEA and utility partners) understand challenges and opportunities to make CEIv2 financially feasible across multiple delivery channels, such as utility programs or market actors.
